ODNC Presents - Working with Microsoft's Mobile Client Software Factory

Building robust solutions on a Mobile platform is no simple task. The Mobile Client Software Factory is a new patterns and practices guidance that helps you build end to end enterprise solutions. Come join us on Tuesday November 21st to learn what the Mobile Client Software Factory is all about and how it can help you build your next mobile applications using .NET technologies.

Working with Microsoft's Mobile Client Software Factory
In this session Luke Smith will walk you through the architecture of the Mobile Client Software Factory and tell you about the application blocks and patterns it uses. He will demo the AdventureWorksToGo sample application, explore the application blocks in the Mobile Client Software Factory using the class diagrams, and provide learnings, links, and resources so that you can install and use the Mobile Client Software Factory on your smart device.

About our Speaker
Luke Smith is a Software Designer with over 15 years experience in the telecom industry. He has contributed to the design and development of embedded software that runs in over 15,000 Wireless and Carrier class communication switches across the globe. Luke's current focus is on building client applications with Windows Mobile and CE development environments that use the GSM, CDMA, WiFi and WiMax communication networks. Luke is a key member of the Ottawa .Net Community executive committee and has been actively involved in many of the projects we've hosted over the last 3 years.

And don't forget about our "Product Discovery Showcase"!
In this 15 minute pre-presentation demo of up and coming development tools, Joel Hebert will demonstrate the ASP.NET 2.0 Client Callback Control and the Web.UI Callback Control from ComponentArt. At the end of the evening, one lucky member of the audience will receive a developer license for Web.UI 2006.2 for ASP.NET (retail value $799.00 US).
