Developing .NET Applications with DevForce
DevForce is a developer productivity solution for building applications for the Microsoft .NET Framework. In this presentation Greg Dunn will introduce the DevForce enterprise application development platform by building a disconnectable, object-oriented smart client app in real time.
Just enough overview will be provided to put the demo in context, and questions will be welcome and encouraged. Expect to come away with a good sense of whether DevForce can be of significant value to you in realizing your application development goals.
About our Speaker:
Greg Dunn, Developer Evangelist at IdeaBlade, has been heads down in DevForce since September 2005. Just prior to joining IdeaBlade he wrote the WinForms databinding chapters for the SAMS Publishing book Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2003, and taught Visual Basic in university and high school settings. Signature database applications in Greg's career have included a document assembly system for law offices (Clipper), a large-scale proposal management system for TRW (FoxPro), and a market forecasting system developed in Microsoft Access for the telecommunications industry, for which he co-holds a U.S. patent. He has recently developed sufficient fluency in C# to sing the national anthem in that language.
