Tips and Tricks in ADO.NET
This session will look at how to use Datasets, DataTables, DataReader, Load table, and the Stored Procedures, to achieve maximum performance in your .NET applications. It will also look at data connections and some of the other new features in ADO.NET 2.0.
Renato Haddad is a Microsoft MVP specializing in Mobile Devices since 2001. He has taught post-graduate courses in ASP.NET and ADO.NET, has served as editor of Brazil's MSDN Magazine, and has authored a number of books on Microsoft .NET technologies. Renato is currently working with INforce Business Solutions as a senior .NET Architect and Mentor. You can read more about Renato in November’s Microsoft MVP Insider.
Wes MacDonald is a senior .NET Architect/Developer and the VP/CTO of INforce Business Solutions. In addition to his expert skills in .NET, Wes is well versed in Oracle, SQL Server, and J2EE. Wes currently focuses on web enabled eCommerce applications, web administration applications, and Text searching applications via web services and the web.
