TRM requires the services of a Senior Software Developer.

Responsibilities:
• Leading a team of developers to produce state-of-the-art web and enterprise applications that adhere to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) paradigms.
• Designing the software architecture for scale, loose coupling, code elegance, user experience, and developer productivity.
• Developing software tools and lightweight frameworks in support of the team’s development activities.
• Working with program managers and with our clients in a collaborative environment to set schedules and track milestones.
• Performing code reviews and helping the team maintain an elegant code base.
Qualifications Required:
• Passion (= love) for software development, computers, and programming.
• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related subject from a top tier Canadian or American University.
• Private sector experience in a technology startup or smaller organization within an established technology company.
• Ability to work independently and in teams. Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Software experience = Minimum of 6 years experience in software development.
• Web experience = Minimum of 3 years experience programming experience in scalable web applications in C# .NET, J2EE, RoR, Python, or C++. Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Leadership experience = Minimum of 2 years experience leading a team of developers, planning out iterative development cycles using agile methods, outlining deliverables, and software test planning.
• Client experience = Experience as a business analyst working with external and internal clients to define requirements, prototype concepts, and evaluate technical options.
• Architecture experience = Deep understanding of enterprise design patterns, SOA, asynchronous messaging systems, XML Web Services, AOP, cloud computing, and test-driven development.
