PowerBuilder/ VB.NET Programmer Analyst

Length of Assignment: Contract, 3-6 months Job Description:
• Assist in project planning and requirements gathering for new initiatives
• Providing technical support for existing applications including installation, bug fixes, new components and feature enhancements
• Perform activities in support of redesigning, expanding and/or converting the current application
• Assist in design and coding of .Net based web services for the exchange of data between Client and other Canadian government partners
• Participate in client meetings related to IT projects
• Interact with clients/users providing demonstrations and one-on-one instruction were needed
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in delivering and/or supporting IM/IT solutions.
• 5+ years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer
• 2+ years of experience as a VB .Net developer
• 2+ years of experience working with Oracle
• Proficiency in PL/SQL
• Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance
Education Requirements:
• Post-secondary education program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position and/or a reasonable combination of training and experience sufficient to be gauged equivalent.
