Brainhunter Inc. is currently looking to identify a .Net/ Cognos 8.0 Analyst Programmer for a permanent job opportunity with one of our Private sector clients.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

 

·         Design, code, test and implement solutions for new development, break/fix problems and change requests.

·         Develop, build, deploy and configure new releases of the supported tool

·         Provide on-call support (8X5) on rotating schedule. 

·         Provide timely, effective problem analysis, determination and resolution.

·         Provide technical support to other team members.

·         Monitor the technical stability of the production environment through proactive maintenance and operations functions.

·         Support product end-to-end testing

·         Follow the client´s formal change and problem management processes

 

Required Skills

 

·         2 yr VC++ experience as a developer

·         2 yr VB experience as a developer

·         2 yrs .NET development in .NET environment (C#)

·         1 yr experience with SQL Server 2005 & 2000

·         1 yr experience with COGNOS Suite 8

·         1 yr of work in support of applications

·         Possess good communication and analytical skills
